COAL TREADING


JMM Coal is a newly established division of PT Jeska Mitra Energi (JME) having its base in Jakarta, Indonesia with branch offices planned to be established later in Padang, Palembang and Bengkulu. JME its self, led by John S. Karamoy, has tremendous experience with records of success story in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production as well as in Mining and Energy Business throughout Indonesia and abroad over the past 50 years.

JMM Coal is aimed at exploring and exploiting coal resources particularly in Sumatra as well as other sources generally in Indonesia by operating medium to large scale coal mining operation at owned or JV Coal KP or Concession as well as developing International Coal Trading Businessand ultimately to have owned Integrated Export Oriented Coal Blending & Terminal Facilities in few years to come.

JMM is seeking a long term coal supply contract with reliable international end-user buyers that will be sourced from its own coal KP mining operation, JV operation with other KP owners as well as off-taking coal production from other KP owners in the vicinity of West Sumatra and jambi provinces.Further to that, JME Coal have also engaged in potential co-operation with a number of highly productive coal miners / KP owners in Muara Bungo, Jambi, the adjacent province to West Sumatra for coal supply or production off-taking for export and local market that will be handled through the above-mentioned coal terminal.

We are confident that this business approach and strategy we are setting-up in West Sumatra is a good stepping stone at the moment in pursue for larger scale of coal mining, trading and terminaling in other parts of Indonesia.
